This weeks weekly get together was fun for all.
I was in the trampoline with the kiddos for awhile and I can still out do them on toe touches.
Praise the Lord the wind died down and we were able to have a fire out back. The house still smells like a camp out.
One of the boy's, Jacob, said that this was the most fun he has ever had. How sweet. We had smores and he has never roasted marshmellows before.
Love having everyone over: Rosaura, Luca, John, Faith, Sharon, Diamond, Blake, Jacob, Jerry, Pamela, Daniel, Ruthie, Naomi, Tristen, Shaun.
Remember Rosaura in pray she had a minor fender bender tonight she was backing out to let Faith & John out and accidently backed into Shaun's vehicle. Heavenly Father, give that family peace.
Don't forget to sign-up for the Biblical Dinner we hope that all of you will attend; invite friends. Awesome time for all ages.

For those of you who follow this blog know I don't post very often but will try to start posting more because I've been personally informed that some of you out there are reading the blog and looking for updates.
Well guess what?
God is moving and calling this ministry to branch out again. WOW. Again. Yes, I said again. We will be doing a monthly Movie Night, more children and youth events and a greater focus on witnessing to people that are seemingly misfits to the traditional church.

I recently went on a retreat with board members of our new ministry. The goal was to get closer to the heart of God, to have Him strip away “self” and to mold us into vessels that are ready to do anything and everything He might ask. What a dynamic weekend it was! The Spirit of the Lord moved in us and through us in awesome ways!
On our drive back home Sunday afternoon, it was amazing to talk about all that took place, because it turned out quite differently than we had originally expected. During our weekend, the Holy Spirit did move; but His moving was to bring (almost, literally drop) people into our path, complete strangers, for us to show His love and grace. We talked to a drunk/bum/pick-pocket on the street, lead him in the Sinner’s Prayer and gave him a new Bible. We prayed for healing for a bartender’s neck, in the bar, while he was tending. We prayed for deliverance for a woman battling anger and hostility and for healing for a young woman with an incurable disease. We showed a young woman love and acceptance who was completely alone and vacationing by herself. We gave a young lady a Bible who didn’t have one but desired one. Almost everywhere we went, God was putting a stranger there to whom we were to show His love.
I’d love to give you more of the amazing details of how God moved that weekend and what miracles we saw take place. As one of the retreat attendees said to me, “This is having church, right here on the street, wherever there is a need”. To that, I say, “Yes and amen”.
This is exactly what our ministry is all about - living the life of Christ everywhere you go and seeing each person with the eyes and heart of Christ. It’s easy now to see why God gave us the name “Christ Life Evangelical Ministries” as the name for our ministry; because He wants us to show everyone, even the seemingly unlovable, His love and grace.
