Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore, with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:2-3
What is salvation?
Salvation H3444 yeshuw ah (Strong’s Concordance)
Salvation, deliverance, welfare, prosperity, victory, saving health
Salvation means way more than delivered from the consequences of sin. Do you see this, it means FREEDOM from all things that would try to hold us in bondage.
Look at this scripture, God (He) is my salvation, He also is become my salvation. This is current. He is you salvation every day, every moment of the day; in every situation and circumstance. And notice that it doesn’t say becoming as if you must wait in the future for deliverance. The deliverance is now. NOW.
And with this deliverance now, what takes places; joy because we get to draw water from the wells of salvation. As we believe on Him as the scripture says, out of our belly will flow these living waters. These living waters will set us free from day to day, moment to moment and set those we come in contact with. (John 7:38)
When we are living in this we will see the Spirit of the Lord upon us, because he hath anointed us to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent us to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19)
Isn’t this awesome. Jesus himself quoted Isaiah about what his purpose is; his purpose hasn’t changed and when we become a child of the king our purpose is the same.
He gave us the great commission: “And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:15-18
