Longing to Share the Gospel

My heart is full this morning and I found sleep to be restless last night.  My heart longs to see more people come to Christ, truly come and not just having a one time experience but truly be on fire for the Lord.

The World is in a tremendous state right now where more and more wrong is being declared as right.  And, more and more right is being declared as wrong.  Laws being passed to take more and more of freedom of religion away but not all religion, just those that claim Jesus Christ is the only way.

'Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"  Isaiah 5:20

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."  2 Timothy 3

Heavenly Father, open our eyes; give us the strength to stand firm on the truth in love; come what may.

Audio Devotions

Posted by Pamela Willhite on September 14, 2016 at 3:55 AM Comments comments (0)

Am planning to get back to doing more video devotions again in the future.  I know some of the followers would rather receive the video devotion than the text only.

Will try to start doing these again.

Being Used by God

Posted by Pamela Willhite on September 4, 2016 at 3:30 AM Comments comments (0)

I just couldn't sleep had to type of this next devotion that so captivated me.  I just sent out the prayer devotional yesterday so, I didn't want to remove it and send out another because many would not have read it yet.

For those of you following the blog, I haven't written in a long time.  I plan to attempt to start keeping up.

Being Used By God

If there is anything in you that likes to be seen and heard, it will have to die, because Jesus must have all the glory in the body. It is not possible for you and God to dwell in the same body in fullness. As you come to an end of yourself, then is the beginning of an almightiness of God. A little thing may stop the flow of the spirit.

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:7-12)

Before the Holy Ghost can have His way within you, you must be cleansed from your own evil appetites and there must be a body prepared for the Holy Ghost.

Can it be?

Yes.

This is the divine plan which is the movement of the Spirit within us, which is the divine order of the Trinity, taking hold of our nature and transforming it into power and bringing it into a place where out of it flows rivers of living water; light, revelation, open door, intercession, making a way into all darkness; bring to God the things that are so manifestly declared that day by day we are the sons of God.

And this river flows without an effort. “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38) When the Holy Ghost takes hold of you, you will have no more worries, no more stressed thoughts that cause sleepless nights. God will do it.

God has everything He wants you to have, and if you have anything that He doesn’t want you to have, it is worthless. This is the great plan of God for you. It is the sole purpose of God, a greater purpose than you can conceive and it is God’s thought for you, He has no less plan for you than to make you a son of God with power according to the resurrection. “As He is, so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17) “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13)

God is able to do this for any one of us who will yield to Him. He can take our weakness and depravity and make us holy. It is He that created all things for Himself, He created us for Himself that we may be no longer of the outward but inward perfection with Him, who has created us in power and might and revelation, mighty in the earth. Hallelujah, clothed with power! (Colossians 1:16 & Revelation 4:11)

Philip said to Jesus: I would like you to show me the Father. Jesus’ answered: If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. (John 14:8-10) The time came when the people looked at Philip they had to see Jesus. The world doesn’t need to see us, they need to see Jesus. (Acts 8)

“Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” (John 14:10)

How lovely to be filled with such incarnation of God’s order that the power of the Spirit of the life of Jesus should flow through you and you should be a new creation of the Spirit under the mighty power of God.

“Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?” (John 14:9)

Directly after the baptism of the Holy Ghost came, they were transformed till one day Peter and John spoke and “when they (the people) saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. “ (Acts 4:13)

Can they, the people say that about us?

Have we been with Jesus?

It is one thing to read the Word of God and another thing to believe it. It is possible to be real and earnest and have zeal and fasting and yet not have faith. One little bit of faith which can only come through the Word of God is worth more than all your crying, all your rolling on the floor, all your screaming and everything; but beloved, God is better than anything.

May the Holy Ghost give us an inward knowledge of what it is to believe. It is God’s purpose to make every believer to subdue everything and to make you perfect and entire and overcoming.

I pray that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, that we may make it manifest, as we ought to speak. Amen.

Thoughts on Prayer

PRAYER

Providential

Resources

Attending

Your

Every

Request

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Ask and he says ok.

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Ask, believe; then receive.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

When you ask, believe you receive and you will.

John 14:12-14 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Ask & believe = Receive

Acts 9:40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

He asked = He received.

James 5:14-16 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Effectual fervent prayer = avails much

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Pray always

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Believe and don’t doubt.

Prayer Quotes

Prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan. ~ John Bunyan

The fewer the words the better prayer. ~ Martin Luther

Prayer is not monologue, but dialogue. Gods voice in response to mine is its most essential part. ~ Andrew Murray

Prayer – secret, fervent, believing prayer – lies at the root of all personal godliness. ~ Williams Carey

Prayer is an effort of will. ~ Oswald Chambers

If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles H. Spurgeon

Help us oh Lord to give up our will and our stinking thinking, help us oh Lord to ask and believe in our hearts without doubting. Thank you for your truth. Amen.

Oil From Heaven

Posted by Pamela Willhite on April 14, 2015 at 5:05 PM Comments comments (0)

For five days straight the Lord has personally anointed me. It first started on Thursday, I kept wiping my face throughout the day. It was excessively oily. I couldn’t believe how oily it was. It even pooled into the creases of my face.

I remember thinking to myself did I put oil on my face today? Now this is something I do most days because my skin is a little dry. But for the past five days I have not. The next day comes and the same thing happens throughout the day. Well on Saturday morning, I finally have realization as to what is going on. Something I have heard of in my past of the Holy Spirit putting his oil on you. I even heard people speak of it and never gave it much thought. It was just an ok, sure God could do that if he wanted to.

I’ve been with the Lord pretty intense/constant over the last 12 days. And so on this past Saturday morning my beloved Lord awoken me around 3:00am for a chat and during this time of communing with God I asked him if this oil was him.

He confirmed to me that it was Him.

He also told me that He has anointed me again but this time with His own oil. Not made by human hands. He anointed me, consecrated me as a holy vessel for His use. WOW, Powerful.

Prophecy for 2015

What the Holy Spirit gave me for 2015.

I see 2015 as a year of thanksgiving. God is going to move mightily and His Spirit will bring new life into the barren places and he will bring forth springs of living water from the bellies of the redeemed. These waters are living waters that will flow like a mighty waterfall and revival will break forth and people will turn from their wicked ways and turn from darkness to light from the power of Satan to the power of the Living God.

We must not hold back we must shout our praises, sing our songs and dance before the Lord with thanksgiving and gladness for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Please let our brothers and sisters in the Lord know that we are one with them, are praying for them and love them. Happy New Year.

Thank you Lord.

Being Dead to Self Tested

The path that the Lord has me walk, is a very interesting one from time to time. After spending 10 days where the scriptures of https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+6%3A28&version=AKJV" target="_blank">Luke 6:28 and https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=matthew+5%3A44&version=AKJV" target="_blank">Matthew 5:44 were needing to be practiced on a regular basis. God taught me to see things differently and the natural outflow was the weekly devotion sent out today.

How timely to be tested today on the very devotion I sent out. We had to stand on the standards of God’s Word when asked to be party to lying, stealing and deception by a person who stated they were a Christian and using these methods for the benefit of doing good. When they understood we could not by party to this, they opened their mouth wide to express their dissatisfaction and used the most colorful words I've heard in a long time. This individual felt it necessary to bless me with a minor assaulted.

Thank you Lord for your grace, help me to continue to show your love and see people with your eyes instead of my own.

Be in prayer with me for Jan.
